At times our testimony can seem insignificant or ineffective, almost persuading others instead of fully persuading them.  However, our testimony contributes to the slow, progressive work of calling and transformation in the lives of others.

As the church continued to grow into Gentile nations, a major point of discussion arose concerning how to treat Gentile Christians.  The apostles followed the Spirit, maintained unity, and preserved the new covenant for all people, an example to us still today.

Paul and his companion Silas were persecuted, but God worked a miracle that led to the salvation of a jailor and his household. Moreover, Paul set a demon possessed girl free, by speaking the name of Jesus.

Paul warned the Ephesian leaders that false teachers would come from within and without, making false disciples.  Spiritual strength is only produced when we abide in the Spirit, obey God's Word, and live in harmony with God's church.
