Jesus' faithfulness in going to the cross demonstrated perfect obedience to the Father and self-giving love for humanity, willingly enduring suffering and separation to secure redemption.

God expects His followers to use their abilities and resources wisely.  Each servant is accountable for what they have been given, and the master rewards those who are actively investing and growing their talents while punishing the one who does nothing. 

Humility means proper respect for God, not self-deprecation (Psalms 8:4-6).  But recognizing your dependence on God, putting others first, and service willingly, like Jesus did, rather than seeking status.

Faithfulness is an essential part of who God is and, in His faithfulness, God protects us from evil, sets limits on our temptations, forgives us of sin, and sanctifies.  Our faith in God is determined by our attitude corresponding to His faithfulness as faithfulness is the center of all that He requires from us, and we must determine how much we need it and how blessed it would make us.
