Faith must be more than belief in certain facts; it must result in action, growth in a saint's character, and moral discipline, or it will die away (James 2:14-17).  A life of faith leads to learning to know God better, developing patience, doing God's will, and loving others.

We need supernatural power to defeat Satan, and God has provided that in His Holy Spirit within us and His armor surrounding us.  If you feel discouraged, remember Jesus' words to Peter: "Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18).

God is full of greatness, mystery, and power that causes deep amazement.  His supernatural goodness goes beyond our understanding.

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).
